Background on the MIT Career Fair

The MIT Class of 2009, the Graduate Student Council, and the Society of Women Engineers proudly present MIT Career Fair 2008. The Career Fair will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 in the Johnson Athletic Center (Building W34) and the associated Career Week will be held from September 15 to September 19, 2008.

MIT Career Fair 2008, MIT's flagship recruiting event, will be the largest recruiting event of the year and the only MIT-wide career fair to be held in the fall. It is open to companies and students of all disciplines and degree programs. We invite you to participate in this event to reach out to highly talented students from across MIT. In past years, the Career Fair has attracted more than 300 companies and more than 5000 students attended. The Fair is part of a week-long Career Week, in which companies will have several opportunities to interact with students in preferred settings.

The Career Week presentation and informal meeting opportunities are only available to sponsors of the event. We strongly encourage you to consider sponsoring the MIT Career Fair to take advantage of these opportunities. We have provided many sponsorship packages to help companies stand out and connect better with the students.

We are working hard to make sure that you have a great recruiting experience at MIT. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Thank you and we look forward to meeting you at MIT Career Fair 2008.
