Interested in becoming involved with the MIT Career Fair and getting to know the representatives of your favorite companies on a more personal level? Then volunteer for the Career Fair!

Incentives

  • Opportunity to closely interact with company representatives
  • Gain experience to help run the MIT Career Fair next year
  • Free food (breakfast and lunch) during MIT Career Fair
  • Volunteer appreciation gifts such as a laptop messenger bag, a mini leather portfolio notepad, and official Career Fair folders and pens.

Volunteering Structure


Volunteers can sign up for any and as many volunteering positions as they would like. However, due to the limited number of prime volunteering positions, you can increase your chance of receiving your top choice if the following conditions are met.

Positions listed above with 1 star (*) are guaranteed.

Positions listed above with 2 stars (**) are limited and we cwould not be able to guaranteed that you will receive the assignment. However, we give priority to our volunteers who have completed multiple volunteering positions.

Career-Fair Day-of Volunteers

  • (*) Setup: 7AM-10AM
  • (**) Company Liaisons Shift 1: 9AM-1PM
  • (**) Company Liaisons Shift 2: 1PM-6PM
  • (*) Cleanup Shift 1: 5PM-7PM
  • (*) Clean up shift 2: 7pm-9pm
  • (*) Registration/Information Desk: All Day
