Vaibhavi Shah

Vaibhavi Shah is a rising junior studying Biological Engineering. She lives in Maseeh Hall on campus and in her free time enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling. She is involved in research in the fields of computational neuroscience, prosthetics, and machine learning in medicine, with the hopes of eventually becoming a medical innovator and neurosurgeon. At MIT, she is the Co-Director for StartLabs, and a board member for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), GlobeMed, and MIT Biotech Group.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Director?
