Vaibhavi Shah


Vaibhavi Shah is a sophomore studying Biological Engineering. She lives in Maseeh and in her free time she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and travelling around the world (33 countries and counting!). In the past, she has designed prototypes of oncologic nanorobots and conducted research in the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine, in the hopes of becoming a medical innovator and neurosurgeon. At MIT, she is a board member for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), GlobeMed, StartLabs, and MIT Biotech Group.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Director?

After attending the bustling career fair my freshman fall, I was intrigued by all the moving parts of the event and how effortlessly they all came together.
